    Finally got me a deuce!

Thankyou mucky for the clarification. Is there a way to turn the emergency air on?

    Finally got me a deuce!

Can anyone give me a quick run down on how the air fittings work on the back end of the deuce? One says service, one says emergency

    Finally got me a deuce!

Hello folks, The much awaited temp gage showed up. Install was easy and the new one works! Finished rust proofing the floor, got a tad carried away with the spray paint. It isn't the correct color but it will do for now. And here is the passenger floor.

Stamp says 501135. I wish I had a place to park this thing out of the weather, hopefully one day!

    Finally got me a deuce!

Well I removed the floor mats, and underneath was a mess.. I vacuumed all the dirt and sand out, washed it out then painted in some rust converter. Then I hit it with some rust paint, and then put a can of truck bed liner ontop of that. End result looks pretty good considering what it was.

Do you guys know if they make an arctic grill for the A3? The ones for the A2 have the headlights inside the front grill.

I had to replace that duct hose as well, it was shredded underneath the wheel well.

    Finally got me a deuce!

Made a hose to connect the air cleaner to the muffler. Was an unused upper rad hose for a small block chevy. I think it turned out nicely.

    Finally got me a deuce!

Muffler sure did quiet it down!! I just need to find a hose to connect the muffler to the air filter now. I need to remove about 3ft of straight pipe, but she sure is quiet. Good tip for removing the river floor mat, yes mine are still installed. And when it rains or snows, it does get a bit...

    Finally got me a deuce!

Yes I have a few young boys, I'm just nervous about the whole thing. Removing it is one thing, getting it back in is what I'm worried about

    Finally got me a deuce!

So here is a list I have compiled of things to do. Install new temp gage when it shows up. Counter weights. Need to move one, and add one. Coming in the mail. Front axle boots are torn and need replaced. Already purchased. Install muffler and remove about 3ft of straight pipe. I have the...

Good eye! You are 100% correct, that weight is off a lug. So the cover doesn't matter, it's the ctis system that the counterweight is compensating for. I see now that I am also missing a weight off one of the rear tires.

Should that wheel weight be removed, with the guard removed? Truck does have a bit of a bounce when driving it. I do still have the guards, I'm thinking they could be modified and put back on with the lockout hubs.

    Finally got me a deuce!

My windshields are rusted and one is cracked, i see some for sale for just over 100$ each, with gaskets installed. Anyone know how hard it is to swap out windshields? The ad says some fitment may be required

The belts likely didn't age well, along with the lower rad hose. I appreciate the info

    Finally got me a deuce!

As much as the thought of the multi fuel engine intrigued me, my m35a3 has the cat 3116 engine. Good info about the belts , perhaps I should get a few spares for when the time comes.

    Finally got me a deuce!

No bubbles... I removed the upper rad hose filled it and tried to put it back on without loosing the coolant out of it, that was a fail.. I parked on a side hill, with the rad cap being the highest point, sqeezed the upper and lower rad hoses, I think some of the air worked its way out...
