Some on here have been able to go with the 12.5 inch wide 33" tires, however some don't quite make it. I put on Goodyear AT's 33x10.5R15's and done enough off roading to know if any issues would arise. No issues to date at all, three years with these bad boys on.

As long as its running, when there is not and presure coming out of the exhaust then water comes in to the engine, not what I want to have happen to my CUCV, even if it means the off chance that it stalls while fording. To expensive of a chance to take.

After everything read, I think I am happy with mine the way it is. Looks good with the 33 inch tires on it. To much stuff involved to just up and change its center of gravity.
