Just because a news reporter suggests a witness says the tire fell
off does not make it true. It is the right front tire, the guardrail
prior to the crash is mangled, it is possible they hit the rail
then the wheel came off.
There will be tell tale evidence in the roadway "if" the wheel
parted...
...and if battery's are completely disconnected from Everything they hold a charge?
I had a battery 2 weeks ago that had some kind of parasite drag, or so
I assumed. I charged the battery and let it sit overnight, in the AM
it was down ...new battery and all is well.
Pull all lug nuts in the shop before you find out they do not
want to move in the field. Use a smidge of Anti-Seize on bolt only
during re-assembly. Torque to TM specs.
I have the standard issue lug-nut socket and solid bar handle. In addition
to that I have 2 more telescoping pieces of steel...
If they are busy they want you gone asap.
It is not real hard to just putt outside the gates and strap up outside
so they can leave. They will not leave you alone inside, thanks
to the thieves of past. I do not care if you are the pope,
no one is left alone inside the gates.
They are as...
If anyone is interested, I have been interjecting copious
amounts of info regarding relays recently in the
Artisan's M916 thread. Pages 43 and 44 I believe.
Crazy but the thread have about 20,000 views to date.
Lots of GOOD info for the 20Ton / M915 Series Guys
I guess I need to look at the schematic and see if I can see
how #1 thru #6 are wired different then #7 and #8
Yes tow, I believe they are all identical relays.
M916 5 Blade Relay Testing
I am still playing w/ relays. The M916 has I think 8 of
these mechanical switches, better know them in and out.
I made a drawing that I will carry in case I am away
from computers and need to diagnosis because I c-r-s.
Then I found a uTube that does a great...
Matts truck is insanely cool. He has upgrades I can only dream of.
Most interested in this thread I am. Fortunately I enjoy
wonderful wear on all my tires, I have Bridgestones
on my M916 Centaur 20Ton and I run a full blown
Hemtt type square towbar "At the Ready" daily
on the front of my...
M916 Relay and Circuit Breaker Cheet Sheet
Here is a good cheat sheet I made and printed out to put
in my truck. It could be VERY helpful on the side of a road.
I dropped all info that was not M916 specific.
See -20 TM starting on page 2-33 for more info .
Image is too big (it fits on an...
The truck I speak of is an M916 but I am assuming this question is generic.
In TM 9-2320-273-20 it states that all the relays "are identical".
When I read the description for each relay I see #1 thru #6 relays are
"Normally Open Circuits", but then #7 and #8 relays are "Normally Closed...
Yea, I see these things all over the place, hopefully EriksMilitarySurplus w
that is the first place I go to when I need 5 ton and more parts, hopefully he will
see this thread and grab this bull by its horns and get this stuff
listed on his site for us guys that drive the bigger toys. Even if...
Wow, I spoke too soon, I just found, I do believe, a
massive cross over reference list of these parts for
about 66% le$$.
I just found them at RockAuto HERE.
I did a search for " 0332-204-101 " and found the above.
