For the new guys...
These trucks will run on 2 standard size 12V truck / marine type batteries w/o issue
all day long. I have 2 Sears B-14 Marine type batteries in front of my 400HP Cummins and
it spins FAST during starts in warm temps. Your little 5Ton is only 250HP. (But I have
a 5 Ton too...
You West Texas gents, if you are somewhat close to any GL outlet
and if you or your local boyscouts (or?) want to make a few extra dabloons
from time to time perhaps looking at stuff and loading out stuff and
getting it off to me , just let me know via PM ONLY please.
No bologna here, I...
Mikey you can get real close if you just do some simple math
and then go to most any online conversion website that does volume .
Fist, go out and measure the LENGTH and WIDTH and HEIGHT of the tank.
Multiply the L x W = Y
Then multiply Y x H = Z
Z = your total (approx.) cubic inches. Take...
I am thinking about Solargizers for my M916 and M925A1 AND Schutt trailer.
I got a small one, they make quite a bit of power... I am now considering
a mount, maybe something that you can adjust to keep it pointing

My A/C System as of 10 minutes ago is now done less
some strap up I did not want to do till I was 100% sure

hours, the vac motor was smoking and hot towards...

I was RIGHT.
I pulled my caliper bolts and found them rusted as I said and the actual surface
of the shoulder part of the bolts had a poor / substandard machined
finish, you can see machining grooves for cryin' out loud! I got all
new bolts and the new caliper bolts are smoother than James...
Hey guys, a new member is having some wheel removal issues.
CLICK HERE and if you think you can help please do.
All's I am doing is squat I do believe... :-(
Hmmmm, who is the resident 5Ton Hubmeister?
If we keep bantering a man of knowledge will chime in,
So long as you have done due diligence and read the TM's that is...
I "think" Michelins are rated for 55 MPH or so and THAT is why I would
rather have Goodyear's up front and the cool Michelin XL's in the back...
Personal Preference...
I might suggest that I "think" Goodyears are rated at about 65MPH Max.
So they might be better for the steer axle. Having said this, and knowing how
"cool" Michelin XL's are, I run Goodyears in front on the steer axle and
Michelin XL's on the rear axles...
Right or wrong, it is food for thought.
