    Artisan's M916

I just spent a considerable amount of time looking for the silly part number for the silly little rubber plugs that there are a total of 8 of them, the rubber brake dust plugs. In the rear, I clearly need 8 of them, but they are not so much as shown in the parts #TM9-2320-273-24P. Am I crazy...

Schutt Industries 1CSL0-SLC-T-1000 Self Loading Trailer

I found the AXLE documents needed. CLICK HERE then on the right you see the 9-15K models, that is what you want, DISC BRAKES stuff. I think we have D120HD Axles. 12,000 pounders. Yes the outer caps are supposed to be clear to see the oil inside. If these trailers were flooded the axles...

    M923 Battery Relocation Idea

If "someone" made a sturdy pull out battery holder for that area they would have a hit. I would venture to suggest just two Sears B-14 batteries and maybe an AMMO CAN or two next to the batteries for more tools. I just have not been there, yet, to make it. I got sidetracked and bought an M916...

M915 air conditioner question similar to Humvee

You can clean that up significantly by just buying a 2 Pin Deutsch connector and deleting the extra dryer connections. It's really easy. You just disassemble things and remove the aux. dryer connections and put it all back together w/ a 2 Pin Deutsch connector. No special tools needed. I did an...

M39 Series 5 ton steering column question???

Will it slide? Can you solder a new wire to one end or the other and pull the new wire thru? Perhaps do a nice skinny solder job? If it will move I think I would strip back a good 2" and interlock the strands w/o bending, then solder, using solder sparingly but up the whole 2" lemgth.

    Intake flame heater delete

I just had a though, if you cut it in 2 pieces you might be able to drill it out to size, then tap it to NPT specs and pop in an NPT plug. So you would have a plug screwed into a plug.

    Intake flame heater delete

OK well if I were doing that I might consider taking that part to a good welder and just cut it into 2 pieces just above the hex and weld it shut and Viola, you have a plug. After that and I am sure preferred, just determine the thread pitch and then measure the OD of the threads and look for...
