    M543A2, Thanks Papabear!

I was reading the TM-9-2320-211-10,M39 series there is no 246 in there. It goes truck tractor then truck wrecker medium? It is listed in another TM-9-2320-211-10 with the same number as a M39 series M246. How come two TM's with the same number list different trucks?? I am guessing I have...

Sorry for this old thread revival, I typed in Canada in the GL search section here and found this thread. Is it rare for these vehicles to be sold to Canadians?

    Solar panels?

Most commercial trucks are 12 volt, this one is 12 volt. But I'll get one of these for my MLV when I get it.

Vaccum wiper motor fails to cycle

Switch the motors left and right for now,see if it does the same thing. I had an issue that my arm wouldn't park,so it would not start its cycle. I switched the motors around and not issue anymore. It is worth a try, only cost is time.

Vaccum wiper motor fails to cycle

I have air wipers on my Freightliner, are the lines farther down stream allowing the air to escape? It could be in the switch unit.

Sat behind the wheel of a deuce for the first time.

I also noticed the small size of the steering wheel, I hope the steering pump doesn't fail. But boy do I like the size of the truck. Back to the TM's to read up on the M/F version.

    Solar panels?

At the automotive store, they have those solar panels you plug into your power point/cigarette lighter. These are to maintain your car battery, I was thinking of getting two for my Freightliner and get the two into one to maintain my batteries. Would it cause a problem putting the two...

Sat behind the wheel of a deuce for the first time.

Sat behind the wheel of a M931A1 WO/W on super singles, there is a lot of difference in size and room. What kind of trailer is used on these tractors, the 5th wheel must be 5 feet off the ground?

    M35A2C vs M923

3/4" chain is very pricey, would be nice to have a 20-30' length.

    M35A2C vs M923

If he got the 5 ton in multi fuel, he would be even further ahead. I have been aiming this way,but my import guy says they aren't up at the moment where we are looking.

    Proper chain mounting?

Hence the reason I thought this thread was needed. Some of us may think we are doing it right and we are creating our own disaster. Please educate us.
