    thanks for the replies , yes I was going to go full manual - but after reading these post I might reconsider.. I did find a 6.5 turbo and the trans-- But I need to check everything out as far as options.. I appreciate all the help!:)

    great info , what ( year) is considered older design? Im looking to find a cheap rebuildable motor , Ive thought about , doing a port and polish on the heads , polish the rods, cross drill the crank - But Im new to the 6.2 .. I'd like to replace any weak parts
