    Why do I smell coolant?

Turned out to be a tiny leak on the upper radiator hose. It was hard to see until I installed two fresh and clean alternators. The leak didn't show up on the old alt. :) Installed a new hose but haven't put many miles on the truck since then. Planning on replacing all the hoses, the water...

    Heater

We hooked the electrical up on the heater. Two speeds, no special switches or resistors. I tapped into 24 volts under the hood at the circuit breaker as DogHead suggested using the last Y connector from Kenny's generous shipment of goodies. We used the proper connectors from Eric's surplus...

    Convoy light

My lights are scheduled to arrive in a 73 pound box Thursday via FED EX. With the rain coming it will be next week before they are installed.

    Scepter Spout Alternative

You're right. We should use the No Spill/No Pour/No Flow kiddie safety spout that they come with now. I thought I was smart enough to tie my cans down and pour fuel like a big boy, but CARB says no. LOL - I've thrown the safety CARB spout away on every new can (three now) in the store trash...

If it is the 30th, I will probably have a small retirement party since it's the last weekend before I stop going in to work (I get paid until July 31st though). I would rather spend money for my real friends than the fartknockers I work with. 26 years seems short now.

So it's NO CHIT, the 30th? Are you authorized to approve dates? Let us know because a lot of people will be putting in for vacation based on what you say. :)

    Cheap Electric Wipers

Finished the install. I would say if your air wipers are working good, keep them. I paid about $100 shipped for these and they are probably worth that. Nothing more. They don't sweep as much as the air wipers did. The wiper blades that come in the kit had to be tossed. I used the Anco civy...

Yeah, we'll check it out good.

    Cheap Electric Wipers

Both motors painted, mounted and wired up. We got one arm on and working. The other needs to be modded. 110 degree sweep with it "stowing" out of the way doesn't leave much else. It's probably just enough. We will finish up in he morning and install the windshield washer kit. Then wire up...

    Cheap Electric Wipers

I know, but it's even easier connecting them to the 12 volt fuse box.

    Cheap Electric Wipers

Didn't I mention I bought a cheap windshield washer kit? That's going in today too. The things you can do with 12 volts!

    Cheap Electric Wipers

The arm is held on by a bolt. The shaft seal isn't on yet because everything is mocked up. They are single speed unless you use a resistor switch.

    Cheap Electric Wipers

I designed them and had them made. I only needed one for my scout uniform, but I had to get 25. I created my own position.
