m923a1 bed mounting - same for a Marine ISO bed?

The ISO bed I have came off an M927. It is 20 feet long....too long for an M923. Did they make a shorter ISO bed?

Near Greensboro, NC Airport, WAS stuck 5 ton pretty good!

Big truck, big stuck. There seems to be an epidemic of stuck trucks lately. I was moving a big culvert (made out of a 1500 gallon propane tank) and almost got the M936 stuck. I quit while I was ahead.

    m35a2 driver seat

I put a set of bucket seats out of a Dodge Neon in the M109 I had. Fabbed a base and it rode like a Caddy. No need for springer or air ride.

Bought A M275 Need some guidance

Do you hear the in tank fuel pump running when you flip the battery switch? Most of the time deuces will start if the pump isn't working but not always.

    M936A2 recovery Hattiesburg,Ms to N.E. Ohio

I guess I missed the part about the wrecker aspect. Sell him that M105 trailer....should be able to get four tires in it. And it's a no go on the goats.....the Boss Lady said no trading critters for green iron......dammit.

What is your route back? I'm a few miles off of I-59 between Birmingham and Chattanooga if you go that route. PM for contact info if needed. Jeff has some 5 ton tires for me if you want to deliver them. I'm about 5 hours by car....prob a little more by 5 ton....from Jeff's. If you leave...

Bought A M275 Need some guidance

Yes I do....PM me an email addy and I'll send you some pics. Mine has never been butchered and is prob 95 percent original. I really want it to go to someone that will completely restore it and give it the love it needs. I have a bum knee and can no longer do the clutch thing.

Turbo pipes and muffler on a non-turbo

I put a muffler on my M275 non-turbo deuce tractor. I saw no loss in power. I also saw very little decrease in noise. Go Figure.:shrugs:

Putting a Jeep in the bed!

The last time I unloaded a vehicle out of the bed of a deuce I ran the front end of the deuce up on some heavy ramps to lessen the angle of the unloading ramps. If you can raise the front up a foot or so it really makes the angle of attack a lot easier. Just my rambling thoughts.

M939 Crew Cab with Soft Top???

Eventually you will have trouble with a rag top.....it is the nature of the beast. If you can keep it undercover it will help but only delay the inevitable.

First post, First truck, Lost puppy

I've had the 250 in a M816 wrecker and I have the 8.3 in my M927. I'll take the 8.3 any day. There is not much power potential on the 250 without spending some money and constantly worrying about blowing it up. The 8.3 can be turned up to 400 HP with a few mods and still be reliable. Plus it is...

    Cat 3406 B

I love Splatterpiller engines. I once drove a cab over Freightliner with the 3406B in it and it was a pulling motor scooter. The only issue I have with Cats is they will keep you in the poorhouse for parts and repair, especially if you take them to the Cathouse (dealer) to get them repaired. If...

    Burning WVO Fryer Oil

I ran 50/50 WVO/diesel in my M275 and in a diesel Ford Ranger I had. The WVO has to be filtered and de-watered for best results. As stated there are plenty of references on many sites to tell you how to do this. When I was making my own "Deuce elixer" I used 30 gallons of waste motor oil, 30...
