New Starter for CUCV: Should this happen?

I agree with GPrez, but keep the 24v starter. Take your truck to a starter shop and have them preform the 3 R's. Remove, Rebuild, Replace. Then you have a warranty through them and not some flybynight on e-pay. Thats my 2 cents.

The Swede need engine oil advice!

Is your Deuce past the 5000 mile mark..? If so I would think the engine is past the break in period.. I would use the synthetic oil you have at the local petrol station rated for a Diesel. My 2 cents

Flatbed trailer with a tractor back hoe, 3 Yard dump trailer full of AA road gravel, Countless stumps, Right now its hooked up to a trailer pulling a 28' tandem RV on its way the the UP of Michigan. Front Tire Camber.....Question

Now that I have it in a heated shop and up on blocks I am going to do the best I can to fix this myself. Bositck GMC is the only place around that will get it 100%. The problem with them is its $500+ every time you bring anything there.Get my point.

    Front Tire Camber.....Question

I drove the Oddball Express M-109 from Florida back to Michigan a year ago. The front passenger side tire was 1/2 worn on the outside half. The camber is off. Since the M-109 is up on blocks to be painted I figured it's time to fix the leaning tire situation. My question is this; Since there...

    m1028 cold

Holland Mi, I would do a flush and fill of the radiator fluid and replace the thermostat with an OEM from the dealership. Mine from Hostler GMC cost $59.99 and I have had no problems since. The Chinese makes them and auto zone sells these cheap ones that work when they want to. Plus the flush...

    Diy rock sliders

I am impressed with what was shipped to me. I had them in my truck and stopped by the local 4x4 shop. The owner wanted the manufactures number. I told him they are custom made and they were all surprised at the precision quality. Darren Evans rocks so I gave them his number.

Our local gathering spot is the BP, free coffee and donuts. I was getting coffee last week and was eyeballed by a local prick. There were 7 cars and a convention around the coffee Isl. I was way out of place. The next time I go for coffee and see the gathering I am going to take a few pictures...
