BTW, we used to do the emissions checks and have to have the cert before the license plate would be issued, when we did this years ago any vehicle 10 years or older did not require an emission check cert...to obtain the plate.

WM has it down pat. A TRANSFER SWITCH IS JUST AS IMPORTANT THAN YOUR GENERATOR. This can, will and have saved life's. Automatic or manual what ever generator you buy make sure you match up a transfer switch. Thats my 2 cents.

IDM1028 is correct, the front battery is # 1 and will run the vehicle accessories. This is usually the weak one. I also jump just the 1st one to start if necessary. Works fine. Be careful the polarity is correct.
