This is a new one on me. At the ripe old age of 50 I have never, ever heard of a coolant filter. Please post pictures of the apparatus used and the install. I think this is interesting to say the least.[thumbzup]
I was thinking of drilling one then filling the grenade with epoxy. Then when it sets up its all 1 piece and the epoxy makes its own tap. The added weight will help the shifter slide in easier. Thats my 2 cents...:driver:
2 Thumbs up..........!
Rikki, My hats off to you. You get 2 thumbs up from me and a rep point for your ingenuity.[thumbzup][thumbzup]

I agree with TIGGER for what it's worth.
BTW since you asked, IMHO A 2wd pick up is a car, If your going to buy a truck get a 4x4.
I am sure it snows big time in MD there is not much difference between a 3/4 ton and a 1 ton. I prefer a Chevy/GMC truck, parts are readily available anywhere. 2cents
Chappy, I was thinking more in the line of commerce. Hey the guy needs a proper truck and he has money...Go figure.
I met someone new. Good people doing what they can with what they got to do it with.

Gamagoat1,
How does that feel in your hand, would it be comfortable on a road trip..?
I thought the original picture upside down looked more smooth to grip.

I was in Windsor, Canada a few weeks ago, crossed the Ambassador bridge and saw a S250 shelter on a 105 being pulled by an Isuzu mini pickup. I followed him into the "petrol" station and asked him what he was doing.
"Justin" said he was going salmon fishing. I gave him...
Wow, It looks like I have my work cut out for me. I will drive it to push snow this winter and get a good feel for her then do what I have to do in the spring which I think will go back to a 6.2 or 6.5 with turbo. I have a side winder still in the box I am itching to have installed in one of...
I have al local trans man that can work some highway gear magic, or I can get a 6.2 - 6.5 in a can and swap it back out, that would be a good weekend project, either way the trans man will have a look at highway gears. Thanks you all for your comments and help. Don
Why is it so hard to find a set of LED GM square replacement headlights...?
For a 1028- 1009- 1008.
I have looked at many links that all go to a dead end. Oddball spoiled me by putting a pair on his 109 and I am hooked. I have driven the 109 at night for many hours and the difference is amazing.
The drive train is original, which means a 4" lift, 37" tires and the gas mileage should be not so bad. What would be a good cruising RPM for a 454 gasser anyway...?
