If enough bolts get loose it can cause the transmission to twist and flex against the bell housing. I think this was even addressed in an issue of PM magazine. I don't know if they are posted on line anywhere. If so they would be an an issue from the 80's which is when I was at Benning.

It is possible to turn a HEMMT without the engine running but I think it's due to the fluid pressure in the system. We routinely dragged them around the Motor Pool in Korea when we had some that were deadlined that had to be relocated. It's entirely possible I'm wrong but I think if you follow...
