    How to Multifuel your CUCV

Me thinks they just made some sheetmetal adjustments and set the CUCV body on the deuce frame......I had the same thought using a crew cab for a bob deuce.

Hats off to career deuce drivers!

When I was in Germany back in the 70's I was in a Signal unit and drove for the Mess Hall and Supply Room. Five days a week when we were in garrison I did a run of some sort. In two years I racked up over 50,000 accident free miles...got an Army Achievement Medal as my PCS award. Once a year...

It looks like when Murphy got through with me and Jeremy he moved east to your AO. Hope the rest of the trips goes smoother.

    Mighty Eighth..

The B-17 was one of the finest bombers ever built by the US defense industry. I got to fly in one several years ago and will never forget it. The guys of the Eighth Army Air Force were true heros. Statically it was safer to be an Infantryman than a bomber crewmember.

    Completely Random

While the data plate says not to use aviation grade gas it it like any other "dry" fuel......if you cut it with enough diesel or WMO it will knock down (no pun intended) the octane rating and the deuce will burn it without damaging the engine. I have done this before in an emergency situation...

Need some help. Will Wagner, anyone...need wiring scematics for M-48 and V-300

We had an M-48 in front of our Division HQ....the unit historian said when they brought it from the storage depot it was still in running condition....they had to "demil" it by removing the batteries, draining the fluids and disabling the starter. Until they drove a wooden wedge between the...

    Dented hardtop fix

The most common cause of "hardtop dent syndrome" was hauling camo net and concertina wire on the roof of the deuce. It was the best place to carry it where it didn't interfere with cargo loading and unloading and kept you from getting cut to pieces by that "devil wire". It was not uncommon to...

M35A2 Getting A Tag in SC, Thx

Take the title (or bill of sale if they allow it) to the DMV...give them some money and show them proof of insurance. That is how we do it in Alabama. If SC requires a title for older vehicles and you don't have one you are probably screwed.

    Is this radiator salvageable?

It is getting harder and harder to find an old school radiator repair shop that will repair rather than try to sell you a new or rebuilt radiator. Considering the cost of a new or remanufactured one I would hunt for one. Some NOS radiators sold off GL a while back....I don't know if anybody...
