I have two turbo deuces and the M275 that is NA.....the little tractor will pull just as good as the deuces......but you have to watch out in a pull if the fuel is turned to it....if you keep your foot in it you can get it hot quick.

Years ago I met a guy that had a long hood Peterbuilt. It had the V-12 Detroit in so it needed the extra lenght. He had a neat little electric hydrolic setup to raise and lower the hood.....don't know if this would work on a deuce but since we have such a wealth of knowledge and fabrication...

The smallest practical vehicle would be a 11/4 ton maybe....that is about the size of a bob deuce. A older Ford F-450 or F-650 would be a candidate......just using the engine and transmission would increase the pulling power since you would not have front wheel drive and transfer case weight...

I have the same problem with the tubless tires on the Bolster trailer.....they leak down just sitting there. I suspect leaking valve stems and possibly lack of sealing between the tire and rim.

My son (who is stationed at Fort Campbell) told me that chem light batteries are obsolete since they got the new rechargable chem lights. We will prob see the old batteries on sale through GL as I am sure the Goobernent bought a butt load of them.

PB.......I agree with you to a certain degree....but not only has our brother been deprived of the use of his property and the costs of repairing it....he has been personally violated. If he had caught the person in the act would that person have ran....would he have attacked? You never know...

Sometimes you just have to separate the wheat from the chaff.:mrgreen: I used to have the FSN and a TM for the M-346 Chaff Separator (with Wheat Collector) but since the miltary quit baking their own bread all of the machines have been surplused out. Occasonally one of them pops up on GL.
