James Bond 007 smoke screen set up Project?

When I was in the AL National Guard I was in a tank battalion. On occasion we would go to the manuver area near our headquarters. In the summer time when it came time to make camp the M88 Tank retriever would kick on the smoke generator and rotate 360 degrees a few times spewing a cloud of smoke...

    HMMWV helmet / turtle top

When used with the hard doors it made it easier to secure high value items in the vehicle. The warm and dry aspect was a plus too. Most supply sergants had creative ways to purchase creature comforts for the Command Staff.

    armored vehicle compilation video

PB....all I am saying is that the potiential for abuse is there. We all like to think that the powers-that-be have our best interests at heart. But to quote a line from a famous movie (Porgy and Bess) "It ain't necessarily so". I assume that the person who posted the video has a vested...

    armored vehicle compilation video

If the justice system in this country has failed to the point where civilian law enforcement agencies need these vehicles and that type of firepower then we as a country are doomed. It reminds me of the scenes of the Waco debacle where military vehicles were used against civilians. Criminals...

    What too buy?

The 800 series came stock with the 250 HP naturally aspirated straight diesel engine......they will pull a lot more than 5 tons.....they were used to pull the 5000 gallon tanker in POL units....they didn't do it fast but they did it consistantly. I once pulled a narrow guage railroad box car...

Towing a commercial trailer with an M-series 5-Ton

The M915 is a lot lighter than the M916/M920 due to lack of transfer case and front drive axle. It also gets a little better fuel milage. The M915 came with the 15 speed Cat tranny or the 5 speed Allison. While I lke the Cat the Allison is cheaper to repair and easier to get parts for.

HELP! M-915 AM General, Put in drive, Engine dies? What the #%&* ???

Do you have the key in the "ON" position when you jump it across the soleniod? I have jumped the M915/916's across the seleniod inside the dash panel when there was no key with the truck. You may have an ignition switch problem. If you don't have the switch "on" the truck will run but you...
