    3 axle lowboy

They were used primarily in Engineer units to pull dozers and other heavy equipment behind the M920....prob not nearly as many of them in the inventory as other lowboys. I have only seen one or two on GL in the last few years. Unless they have fielded a replacement for them they will stay in the...

    Ss is a bad influence

Oh No!!!!!! Say it ain't so.rofl We do have meetings (such as the recent GA Rally) and we tried to start a support group but nobody wants to quit. Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy. :cookoo:

    What do you think?

Looks like either a leaky wheel cylinder or wheel seal on that front axle.....easy fix either way. I agree that the sprage is not an issue as long as it works good. The big advantage with the air shift is that you can lock in the front wheels before you get into trouble. The tracks are...

    120lbs of Kitty Litter

One of the issues you have is that the front differential (and maybe the rears) is mudbound also....that is going to create a lot of resistance no matter how you decide to get it out. The ground looks to be too soft to jack it up and put wood or something else under the wheels.....you are prob...

    120lbs of Kitty Litter

Most kitty litter is dried clay. It will turn into slick wet clay when it gets wet.......you need something at least as big as the duece to get her out.

M49 or M50 in Covington, GA?

I do have an M275 that I am entertaining offers on....has a blown head gasket at the present. Sell for cash or will trade for anything that don't eat. You learned well Grasshopper. Poor Elmo will never be the same.

Just a rant and some info

That is one of the reasons my trucks are in their natural state of uglyness. I guess they are afraid of contrating tetnus if they get on it.

M49 or M50 in Covington, GA?

I traded for a tanker a few years ago that had major rust issues......I ended up scrapping it out and recovering my money (the tank on mine was stainless steel). You can't gold plate a turd. Just my opinion for what it is worth.

    Injured Working On Blazer

We are all guilty of bad judgement (and have the scars to prove it) at one time or another. I have found that with my creaky old bones and bad knees a good step stool is now part of the tool requirements for working on deuces and other big items. Thanks for sharing...we all feel your pain.aua

    Low tire

Once the bead has seated the ring will not fly off unless it has been unseated. When they are mounted on the truck the rings are on the inside of the duals and will not fly anywhere even if they could. For safety purposes you can get an air chuck that will lock on the valve stem and you can...

820's at Fort Riley---- SO CHEAP

They sold cheap because they are out in the middle of nowhere and there were several of them.....shipping would be high to get to my place. Even if you drove it home figure 3 MPG downhill with a tailwind. Not a bad price if you were close.

    My wc-53 is wrecked

Nut loose behind steering wheel in the Chevy. His insurance company will try to total your vehicle out for what it is worth in their book. If they try it tell them that if they do the next conversation they have will be with your lawyer. Only settle for what it is worth to you.

    U2 footage

    Dixie Division rally

I am going to try to make it.....if I do it will be in a Dodge Dakota...all my MV's are down for repairs. And as stated above it is supposed to be below freezing Sat. morning .

    Detroit Starter Woes

I know a starter shop that can make a 24 volt from a 12 volt...maybe one in your area could do the reverse.

    U2 footage

I'd rather second seat in an SR-71.

Official 2010 SS Ga Rally Info thread

From the mouths of babes........idiots like that guy is the reason they should bring back public flogging. Maybe 50 lashes with a cat'o nine tails would give him some new insight as to the error of his ways. If they give him prison time I hope he gets a cellmate that will give him all the love...
