Unless you just hate the truck why not keep it. :?:
You cant have more truck or fun for the money.:jumpin:
Drive it to Home Depot or Wally-World...go to car shows, offer to use it in Veterans Day events.
If it it legally titled and insured and there is no Home Owners Association...
The color of the drum does not indicate content.....content should be listed on an attached (glued or taped on) label.
If it is HAZ MAT there will be a diamond shaped label in addition to the content label that denotes HAZ MAT class.
There may also be a MSDS (Material Data Safety Sheet)...
Some issues with WMO:
(1) Know your source.....100% veggie is good....veggie mixed with possum fat (or other animal fats) can congeal and cause you problems.
(2) Filter, filter, filter.
(3) De-water, de-water, de-water. I set my VWO out in a black plastic drum in the hot sun.....after a...
Captain.....if I deep six the M-816 I will have a 290 for sale (never got a chance to install it)....it came out of a log truck and was prob run hard and put up wet but it has a good turbo on it and would prob be easier to install Jakes on. It ran good when we pulled it but smoked a little when...
Pete is good folks.....he delivered my Maint. tent frame on a nasty, rainy day and everything went great. I got to see Floridianson's M-920 that Pete was hauling back to FL.
Whatever his rates are they are worth it.[thumbzup][thumbzup]
Tim, I'm gonna tell Ms Pam on you and she'll stripe your legs.:p
The stuff in back is a kiln and a butt load of ceramic molds.....my foggy memory fails me as to who the owner is......he was a SS member and lived in the vicinity of Mike (I think).
That truck is tougher than woodpecker lips!!!!!![thumbzup][thumbzup]
I have a dropside bed that I am going to put on the M915 if I keep it. I will leave the 5th wheel in place and have a quick release system so I can still use it as a tractor if needed.
I have had a bobber (traded for a tanker) and I have two regular deuces left out of the fleet I used to have.
Since the last deuce I picked up has 1100x20 radials (hubs flipped and singled out) on it and the bed is buggered up I may bob it......but I will always have at least one full sized...
Bubba,
I got the local upholstery guy to recover my springer seat with an Army shelter half.....he put the grippers on the side and the US in the middle of the seat back facing the steering wheel.
He put new countoured foam padding on it and it rides good.
There were several members selling...
Tony,
I will post directions in a week or so from all points with a pic of the Rally Point (where we will meet up prior to the convoy).
We will have a safety briefing and I will hand out strip maps of the route and the final stop.
The 17th is definite.....the picnic area is still to be determined but it will be at the end of the convoy. If all else fails we can land at my LZ (it is only a few miles from the canyon.
I resemble that remark.:-D
Welcome to the "Green Iron" laughing accademy.:cookoo:
I am hosting a mini-rally the 17th of April......it is at Little River Canyon near Fort Payne.......you and yours are welcome.
Do a search for "Wreckerman's Spring Fling" and watch the thread.....I will be...
rw........mine is a naturally aspirated.....still pulls good.
Making a tractor out of a M35 should be fairly easy.....just make sure you position the 5th wheel correctly. The wheelbase would be longer but you could leave the spare tire in it's place. You would have to route air lines and an...
