You can have top notch equipment and be doing everything right and some knuckle dragging, mouth breather can screw up your whole day. You can't fix stupid. That's why they put loud air horns on deuces......I would have let him know the error of his ways.

It is far, far better to have a deuce and not need it than to need one and not have it. I spent 34 years in the Army (in one form or another) and I love these trucks. When I was in Germany in the 70's I put over 50k miles on deuces driving for the mess hall and supply room. They all have quirks...

Ditto on Rotella......cost more but it's the stuff most big rigs use.......and when you change it you can dump the used stuff right in the fuel tank and stretch that fuel.

I have seen the canvas sided ones set up in the field...this one has what appears to be metal sides laying across the storage bins....if so it will make a nice hooch for rallys. I can't wait to get it set up.
