If you are non-commercial you don't have to stop at weigh stations. There are occasions where the DOT of individual states will set up inspection stations and require all trucks and vehicles with trailers to stop.

Littlebob...if the shelter is in good shape I will buy/trade. I am bringing a buttload of stuff to the LA rally so we can work some kind of a deal. Bring it to the rally with you and I'll bring my leaf blower so we can inflate it. It will make a great place to get out of the sun/weather.

Jason, If you are talking about the Chemical Shelter trailer those are pretty cool...they have a 4 cyl gasser engine, heating and cooling system, generator and a blower system for the inflatable shelter. The inflatable shelter is really cool...I used a leaf blower to inflate mine and used it...

Alredneck, It should fit on a 40 footer backwards with no sweat. I saw that trailer (or its' twin) when I loaded out Tues. Some of the tires can be aired up but I think the bead was broken on one or two. They have a big fork lift that can load it for you. Wrecker
