    The bed is just chained on to get it home. It will be raised slightly and moved forward. I have to make some adjustments to get it right. I will make photos as we do the exhaust in case anyone else want to do the same. I'll be using HUMVEE fording pipes for the stacks.

    I have never had any trouble picking up at GL at Redstone. Last pickup was last month. I also went to recover a deuce with Offroadfabworks (Darrell) at a National Guard Armory near Redstone. That one went smooth too. You might PM him and ask if he can preview something for your.

    HEY!!!!!That was a perferfectly good authorized Redneck modification. Worked great too...we fired my AK-47 out of it at the local machinegun shoot. Too bad it is gone now. But I have a ringmount that I am going to put on the bob deuce...has a hardtop so I am looking for ideas too.

    I don't have the TM yet...the engine is out of the truck and it is a lot easier to do all this now before we drop it back in. Maybe I can download it if I can find the info ( I am old and puter deficient)

    Whiile we're on the subject of the 250 Cummins...how do you install the belt that goes from the big pulley to the water pump.......no way to adjust or get the pulleys closer together to slip the belt on...this is making me :cookoo: aua I took the pulley off the water pump using a pulley...

    Unless my failing memory is mistaken I think I remember a thread that showed how to use a tow bar on a winch truck to lift heavy objects such as engines. If someone could provide a link I would be greatful.

    I got a couple of HUMVEE fording kit exhaust pipes that I am going to have made into dual stacks that will go in the space between my factory built flatbed and the cab. I'll post pics when it is done.

    Must have set for bob deuce!!!!!!!!!! I think Offy is right......the rims on front should be mounted opposite of the rears.....unless I am missing something.
