Got a bunch of NP218's if you need one of them.....Bought them just to have for my M1009 too. Has fixed yokes so a change will be needed for the rear driveshaft.
Hey there smart HMMWV people. I bought a bunch of these just so I could have a couple. I was listing them as NP208. Someone is correcting me and says they are NP218. Searching on here makes me think he is correct.
They do have the cooling tubes. Any other ID features??
I took all the lines out yesterday. Raining out now but have new steel and rubber lines to install soon. Have to get the crappy gas out and put it in the deuce. The deuce will burn just about anything.

The rear is locking up easily. There isn't a proportioning valve that I can find.
Would the 08 MC help by sending less to the rear? If I understand what your saying, it should help...
I was told by the guy that installed the 1 ton axle that I should get a 1 ton master cylinder. I was searching the parts stores and it looks like the same part number between the 1 ton and the 1/2 ton.

Truch is still running like crap. I checked the plugs when I got it and they were nice and gray. Checked them again and they were black. Changed them.
Truck wil fire right up but after warming up it will stall out. I don't think the choke is fully releasing resulting in...

Something has to be shorted. The noise is coming from the glowplug relay. Noise sounds like a starter grinding. /bad noise!!
Going to unhook the newly rebuilt alt again and repeat.

I had the batteries checked. Both good and almost new.
Swapped the alternators with each other for no real reason other than if the isolated ground was hooked up wrong by the rebuilder, it should have worked on the drivers side since that one is grounded anyway.
