truck showed up today Pretty cool truck. The emergency lights work. Tow truck guy said that they all came from the New York departments when they sold off the red lights. Don't know if that's true but I do like the lights. Is it legal to have them?? The truck still has the owners manual...

Yes, I just read a bunch of posts from searching but I still have a few questions. Bud wrench: It looks like it works with a breaker bar. Is there a square socket that anybody sells for the rear sockets. One post mentioned the harbor freight 1 inch impact wrench. I am getting that which...

    Wheel Lift Tool

Also (stealing post) what do you guys use to jack up these things. I had to use two jacks and a bunch of pieces of wood to get it high enough to get the motorcycle jack under the tire. Looking around, not too many jacks go high enough. Mine goes to 21 inches max.

    Wheel Lift Tool

    I hate paperwork!

Oh, and why deal with them?? It is because they get most of the stuff first. It is nice to save a couple of $$$ in this economy.

    I hate paperwork!

I love dealing with GL!!! Having to deal with them right now on a jetski. They want an EUC which I did to comply but I made the mistake of asking why.... They got a little snippy. Stated that the Gov dictates the codes. I said GREAT, I work for the Gov, cna I get a point of contact to...

    I am back too.

Hey Frank. Sorry but I think I ran up the price on the light trailer. I wanted that too. I bid on the Deuce but it went for more than I wanted to spend. Also bid on the brake kits and I didn't know what they were for. The M880 cost me $501

Stuck in mud/clay/crap and rain too

GREAT IDEA!!!! I'll be trying to sneak through the car wash to knock off the big chunks! The other trucks got a kick out of the size of the mud chunks that the deuce did throw. They globs were the size of a VW.

Stuck in mud/clay/crap and rain too

Yes, I got a little to sure of myself and went across the tracks. Not enough tire speed to clean the tread. The tires were like slicks!!!

Stuck in mud/clay/crap and rain too

OK, took 3 hours to get unstuck. Then I figured that I had to try again......Got stuck again, one of the other trucks got stuck too. Still had one more truck left that was unstuck but not too capable of making it through the muck (stockish 1 ton). He managed to pull me out, again and then I...

Deuce weight and a lttle good news.

I wish there were tires that were a little lighter but still handle the deuce weight. These are 400 pounds per corner. Might be great for miltary duty and they look great but they are freakin' heavy. I think I can get down under 10k with a little work.
