My bumper came off a old fire truck (m1008) that was turn back in to forestry and went I was up there get a engine for my M1009 we took it off. it was bigger we cut the bottom tube off we did not like it hanging down that low. it took three of us to put it on after we cut it down.

My bosses M1009 went you first start it in the morning or if it has sat all day start up and it seem like it 's running a little rich compared to mine. his smokes (black) and smells like a lot of unburnt diesel. mine smokes to but its more gray smoke. any ideals why his would be that rich. oh...
well I installed the 24v glow plugs bypassed the restor bank and installed a push button. now I not getting voltage thru the relay.:evil: I not 100% that the relay worked before because all but one glow plug looked good. going to get new relay this week sometime.
