    Here is my brake symptoms if I am driving the pedal Will fall to the floor if I continually pump at the pedal it will get hard and it's proper spot and works perfect seconds later after driving if I hit the brakes again it will be back on the floor.

    So here it goes I picked up my first M35a2 yesterday and was told it was a 1971 whistler with a winch and a hard top in mint shape. Like always after driving 4 hours I find out it has brakes that barely work motor runs rough horn doesn't work door handles busted and its a turbo D. Oh well...

    That pipe you used looks nice and thin wall. you call it rigid? I'm assuming it's use for electrical work?

    Exactly what he said the only time I think either might help you is if it's -50 out and you lost all hope of it starting. But you have to remember the glow plugs can ignite the either exploding the unit

    It's possible that four months later it dried out But I just don't believe it I feel like this problem is going to occur again. And I still have the weird issue of the diode and getting hot

    So after a four-month hiatus I got ambitious today and figured let me figure this mess out pulled it out of the garage turn the switch to on and started it and it ran perfect no shorts. The diode CR1 still got very hot to the touch. No idea why it's not showing a short now. So aggravating....
