That one looks better in condition than the one I saw at hawethrones.
Is that one for sale? Im just curios to see what they go for...
Hawthorne wanted 6k for his as it sits.
Didnt know they (diesel depot) had bad reviews... my bad. I would have said heath diesel but i dont know if they ever did anything with the superchargers.
Heath would be the first place to go for 6.2 and 6.5 imo.
I only suggested diesel depot because of a engine build they did for a...
Call the guy at diesel depot in GA. He put a couple roots styles chargers on the 6.2s in the humvees. I think he got 9 psi safely. He did say to put headstuds, gaskets and someting else but I dont remember.
Dont do it X100...
It kills your rubber everything, and will eat at aluminum... dont think that is much worry though. We dont run any of it through the corvettes that my friend works on for that reason.
Even the 10% isnt a good thing either.
LIke said above, I would not touch the stuff.
I thought the price wasnt too bad on the one hmmwv, he still wants $22k for the other one.
I did see the Ford 8x8 656 was still there. he said he wanted $6k alone for it. the engine look to be sitting in the bed. I got pics of that one b/c I almost wanted it but dont got the cash to meet his...
The only ones I have seen on here are basically all the 6.5 parts from craigs, ebay, etc that are put together and work pretty well.
This turbo maybe a different alternative.
So I went to Hawthornes today looking to see if he had any parts for the hmmwv, but definitely no luck besides the two he is selling.
Not a bad price for the one though, $14k its missing the c pillar, a top, and seats but runs and drives. Compared to other bare bones hmmwvs I was looking at...
Lol no that was me in the golf cart. I was 21 at the time I think, Im 23 now. Im too young to have a son just yet lol. It was our first time there, Ive also had it there other times too. Ive got videos on youtube of it running, with me driving.
You could build one but be prepared to invest...
Thats where Ive seen that jeep. I was the one running around with that diesel golf cart rolling coal around the mud hole. I also ride the hmmwv out there as well. I love that place, so far its my favorite mud park yet.
Ill definitely keep you posted when working on it. Im gonna keep it a soft top, will just have to fab some parts up to make the whole system work.
Definitely the ONLY hybrid Ill like
I got a hold of some parts here in FL luclky, bearing works great, hatch, weapon triangle mout, and early...
Im leaning towards buying a bearing and other various parts and then building the rest like SETOYOTA had said.
I got a lead on bearing, hatch, and weapons system to start with. Then I think ill fab the rest out.
Im looking at the RTG ring as a back up, and may very well buy it for just in...
I can understand that, I was just wondering about the turret itself. I was thinking of putting it in my softtop so i could have the best of both worlds. I might have to save up an just buy the turret and fabricate it in.
