Awesome truck man. The word Jealous just doesnt seem to have enough power.....
Cant wait to see it in Tri-Color!
That detroit looks nice and clean too....
Agreed! I found a few that way when I did my friends truck, however his is much older and has been down the road a few more times.
I suppose I should have said "socket is preferred" as it wont chew up the nuts. Good call on that one jpekarek. Although I must admit, Ive found its nice to just...
Just another quick note, I realized I forgot to throw this in yesterday, when you go to take your hubs apart, you are going to need a 3" (8 Sided) Axle nut socket. It seems 3" is an odd ball size for most larger trucks, as my friend`s truck shop had every size imaginable BUT 3". I was able to...

I just finished repainting my deuce using 383 Green, 383 Brown, and 911 Flat black in rattle cans from RAPCO parts co. I was very pleased with the quality of the paint. It goes on in a nice even spray, and seems to cover well. Finish is a cross between flat and satin (if that makes...
Hotrodherman, I just got done replacing all the seals on my truck. Its not as complicated as one might think. Once you ter into the project, you will see. Please feel free to PM me if you need any specifics, but for the most part, the links you have been given by other members in previous posts...
Thanks Hof, the time spent now seems worth it. Im ready for a trip whenever!, Dan and I were talking, how about a trip to Cal one weekend in the near near future? I was thinking leave in the a.m. from Kiefers, and head to cal, stop at the Chuckwagon for a good hearty breakfast, then we can...
Hey Brian, thanks for the comments man! I dont think we won first place, Im not sure who did win.
Anyway, I really appreciate the brackets, they were easy to work with and they look awesome on the truck!
Im having an issue with the drivers side rear LED marker, it does its own thing...
Thanks all!
The paint on both trucks is from RAPCO, we used rattle cans (I am assuming that is the Gillespie paint)
Dan (M818Runner) fabbed up those fenders himself on the 818, and I too think he did a fantastic job. The design and style matches the front fender very well.
In reference to...
Hey all,
Finally finished some work on my truck. Added a fresh coat of paint all the way around, reverse lights on a switch, License plate bracket and light, and marker lights around the truck. I took my cues from the A3 style beds, had a friend fab up some brackets, and I think the end...
Good to hear
Ive ordered several times from Saturn in the past 2 years. Ive never run in to any problems, the service has been prompt and curteous. I had a defective start switch sent out with one of my orders once, I called them back Monday morning, and the problem was resolved...
Need to get these trucks back on the road guys, a deuce isnt meant to spend its life on jack stands :).....Hoff thanks for the Brake fluid, I used all but an 1/8 bottle. Never fails, take a chance on the master level and wham...back to square one.
Brian, talked to Saturn today, the...
Hey all,
I am in the process of cleaning up and "restoring" my deuce. As part of the process, I am adding rear brackets identical to the M35A3 which will contain both rear corner (RED) marker lamps, and REVERSE lights.
I want to keep things looking original military, so my question is this...
Hey all,
Just looking for some input from the pros. I am going to tackle touch-up paint work on my truck this fall. As part of this clean up process, I would like to repaint the bumper to properly ID the trucks lineage, as well as adding my own little touch to make it not-so-official-looking...
Awesome!
Glad to see you used the Cummins ISB for the powerplant, that`s DEFINITELY a good choice!
Cant wait to see the end result, I`m already jealous
