Hmmmm. Id be willing to bet it will hit. I heard someone else talking about that. You may need a custom bell for that transmission to enable the internal slave cylinder. Check with advance adaptors and see if they offer an internal slave setup
Then if you disconnected the ground and the truck continued to run, then the drivers side alternator is charging. Otherwise you would have lost your 12 volt feed to the injection pump fuel shutoff. Does all 12 volt components such as headlights work?
I dealt with this issue the other day. Could be your problem. Local FD brought me their m1028 that wasnt charging. Turned out to be a ground wire was missing on the ground pin on the drivers side alternator. Take a jumper wire and make sure that the post on the back of the alternator on the...
I had this same problem even after cleaning the tabs. Don't sweat it, if you are in the green and have somewhere between 27-29 volts across the two batteries, you are good. Mine just magically started working one day and have never stopped haha.
Did you do the doghead relay? If so, check for 24 volts on the red supply wire. Then turn the key and see if the DH relay clicks. If you have both, you have a problem with the main 24 volt feed line going to the starter from the battery or a bad ground. If your relay clicks, but no start and no...
That is the GP relay. You can take a jumper wire and go from a good ground to the small terminal with the blue wire attached to see if you have power or not. If you get a heavy click, your relay is good. Grab a multimeter and see if you have 12 volts on both large pins coming from the relay. But...
Id say no, and here is why. The entire truck minus the starter and GPs is 12 volts. In a normal setup, the 12 volts is achieved with a wire tapped into the jumper cable between the two batteries in series for the 12+ and the body for a ground. In your diagram, yes, it would work to start the...
I have been running parts house brand (A1 Cardone) water pumps on all my vehicles for as long as I can remember. Knock on wood, I don't have a complaint out of them yet. If you are eating up WPs then you have a problem somewhere else.
Sounds like you have an oddball nv4500 maybe from behind a cummuns or out of a bread truck or something. If it is from a gm truck, it will bolt right up to our 6.2s.
Im not going to say you are wrong, but if you have a stock gm nv bell housing, it will bolt up to the back of a 6.2 no matter the year. Now, that said, the 92-94 nv bolt pattern is different from the 95+ nv but only between the trans and bell housing. The input shaft pilot position is the same...
