Yup, that was a change in the 2008 code.

I hate to say it, but an inspector is right, even when he is wrong...from what I have seen, many are stubborn enough to hold their ground even if the decision is suspect. I also looked up Optional Standby Systems in the code book, and unfortunately, it's pretty specific about sizing the standby...

Looking through the manual, it says that when you preheat, it energizes the glow plugs and heating elements. Where are/ what purpose does the 'heating elements' serve? The wiring diagram shows that the glow plugs and the heating elements are two different things. Thanks! Chris

The Generator is in Columbus, OH. Would you recommend calling the on site person before my EUC clears? My EUC went to battle creek today. Anyone else picking up stuff from Columbus, event 5414? EDIT: From what I can make out, the generator is at DSCC, Columbus.

That, I have found (at least as far as GL is concerned) is kinda a bummer, there is all kinds of interesting things closer to the coasts. Wisconsin sometimes has some decent stuff, but the midwest is, relatively speaking, a little dry.

That's the way I'm leaning now...it might be half fun as well.
