Hello, As strange as this may sound.....Check the "squirrel cage" the fan on the motor, I have already seen new motors that came with the fan and the fins on the new fan were backwards. Also make sure that the polarity at the motor is correct, and it is not spinning backwards. Sounds crazy, but...

Being a mechanic for just over 20 years, I have not had many problems with NAPA, besides for the inevitable issues that any parts store is bound to have. Good parts, but sometimes at a price that is a little out of the ballpark.

My voltmeter used to run on the tellow/green line like yours, now it dropped into the yellow, on mine it is the drivers side alternator, is only putting out 12 volts, so i need to rebuild that one. Maybe you need to check the other alternator also. I am not 100% convinced that my voltmeter was...

Yes, you need a calibraton bench to cal. the pumps, but if I just reseal it, I should not have a problem. The truck I got the pump from was a running unit. However, there is a shop close to me that specializes in IP rebuilds, and they are very helpful also. I just hope when I pull it apart...
