    Morning Guyfang, Took it apart and the pics attached. Still dont know how the metal coupling is attached to the plastic nipple from the cooler. It's perfectly smooth, both nipple and the inside of the fitting. Might have to get another cooler.

    Yes sir, proper pump, still had all of the Marine tan paint on all of it, had never been removed. The pump base is a oblong triangle. Can only go on one way
