Hi
The tach that I have is the one with the terminal stip. I used spade terminals with 18 gauge wire. I attached the power lead to the fuel gauge power wire and the ground to the ground screw on the instrument panel. The two wires to the sender, I stripped the insulation off of the wire and...
Tach still dosn't work
Hi
So I got a tach and It didn't work. On a previous post we thought it could be the sender so I got a new one and that didn't help. Just like before when I turn the switch to run the tach needle jumps to about one grand and then back to zero. It's like I'm not getting a...
Hi
Well I got a new sender and it still will not work. When I turn on the ignition switch the pointer pounces up and then back to zero. My thinking is that I am getting power to the tach but for some reason the signal is not getting to the tach or whatever. I have hooked up a meter to the sender...

I read 86humv's post's on this and it sounds like that is my problem also. I will check to make sure everything is wired right and that I am getting power and a good ground before I order a new sender.
Thanks all for the inputs.

Hi
I installed a tach today and have a problem. This is the 3500 RPM tach with the terminal strip on the back. Anyway when I switch the ignition switch to run the tach will bounce up to about 1500 RPM and drop to zero right away and when I start the engine it sometimes will run up some RPM's and...
Hi
The leak isn't coming from the overflow tube. I pulled the dog house forward and could see fluid coming from the front of the engine and running down the back of the engine. My thought was the water pump but why would it only happen a couple of times?

Hi
I have a 1991 M998 and this has happened twice. This time I was installing a block heater. Got it in and started adding fluid. Got in about 10 quarts and the tanked topped up. So I installed the Rad. cap and after about 15 minutes of running the temp got up to about 160 and it started leaking...
Hi
Looking to replace some of my flanged wheel nuts and all of my lug nuts. Half of my flanged nuts are rusty and half look like they are cad plated and cleaned up good. Need a good source for ones to replace the rusty ones.
The lug nuts are rusty and I would like to replace them with the cad...
Hi
Is there someplace that calls out the P/N's for the floor mats and tunnel mats? I have been trying to replace all of them from Ebay but got two that where suppose to be for the rear floor where your feet are but they where for under the seats. Also can anyone tell me what gets strapped in on...
Hi
My question, is the 6.2 and 6.5 engine block the same. I plan on adding a block heater and have only found one called out for the 6.5.
Thanks for the help.

Hi
First time here. Got a 1991 and wondering about the tunnel and how hot it gets. I would like to make a cover which would be plywood covered with indoor/outdoor carpeting on it and wrapped around the edges. Do you think this would be ok and should I place some sort of heat shield down first...
Hi
I'm going to be adding a heater to the rig and wonder for those who have done this what type of heater did you use and what size (BTU'S) of heater.
I live in an area that can get a little nippy being about 25 miles east of Yellowstone park in northern Wyoming.
Hi
I'm not sure on this but I saw a picture of an M37 that appeared to have a modified jerry can mounted on the right rear side of the bed. It looked like the can had been shorted in height. Has anyone seen anything like this?
Again the picture was small and taken from an angle up front of the...
Good day
