    Another Glow Plug/Solenoid/controller problem

YW! Left the controller card under the dash. Not sure why. I need to take it out now since it doesnt run the relay anymore, my push button does that. I changed the glow plugs to AC 60G which are self regulating and I NEVER hold the button down for more than 10 seconds before starting the truck...

Has anyone installed one 24v Battery Tender on a Deuce

I have the one your looking at. It worked great on my M-1009 until I converted it to 12V. Was going to keep it until I buy an M35A3 but dont know if that will ever happen. I'll sell it if your interested in going with the battery tender. PM me if you want it.

    Another Glow Plug/Solenoid/controller problem

Sounds like your on the right track with a bad GP Controller Card if the tollge switch is firing your relay and making your GP's work. I did the roscommon 12V conversion to my M1009. After that there is no 24V left anywhere in the vehicle. The only thing on the CUCV's that was 24V was the...

    To lift a M1009

After all the reading here and elsewhere, I'm going with the Rough Country 4" 3/4 ton lift kit with the upgraded shocks and 52" rear replacement springs for my M1009 to be able to run the 37X12.50 16.5 hummer MT's on Pro Comp Steel Black 16.5 in. x 8.25 in., 6 x 5.50 in. Bolt Circle, 4.00 in...

proper rim width for hummer tires?

I would think so too but they are 37X12.50 tires. Plus the 8.25 have a -16mm offset. The 9.75 have a -22mm offset. I think overall if I can get away with using the 8.25's I'll have a lot less torque on my lugs than using the 9.75's

    Gl Ft Bragg

Saw the same thing last time I was at Altus AFB, OK doing my AT. Walked around in uniform looking all official and talked to everyone on base about getting one. Figured it wasn't worth 10 to 20 in Levenworth! aua

proper rim width for hummer tires?

OK guys I need some help here. I have an M1009. After much lift kit deliberation (And countless hours reading about them on SS) I decided on the Rough Country 4" lift with all new springs. I contacted Hundy about 37" Hummer MT Radials and decided on them. Question is what wheels? Settled...

4" rough country lift for my M1009 is my Christmas present from the wife. Then the 37" tires on Pro Comp 16.5" rock crawler wheels. Theres a discussion on what width to get. 8.25 or 9.75? Whats yalls input?

Welcome and good luck from a M1009 owner! Change all your fluids and filters first thing! And remember "If its electrical, clean it! If its rubber, replace it!"

    CUCV under dash starter relay?

I used Roscommons directions to convert my M-1009 Blazer back to 12V. Questions are: 1 - Do I still need the under dash starter relay or can I delete it and hook the ignition start wire to the wire going to the relay on the starter? 2 - If I still need it, can I still use dogheads...
