My leave officially started at 2100 hrs tonight, my supervisor didn't like being blindsided by my leaving 8 hrs early (we were 6pm-6am tonight). But he couldn't go against AFI and he signed the paperwork without looking.
I'm packed ready to go, and about to lay down for bed.
I'm...
There is probably a partial truth to the story. However I have to ask you this. Do you need a mil spec bed or just a new bed? Being that the two look identical I'd just get a take-off bed from a pick a part.
We've meet in fact a good portion of the truck was repaired by WM himself.
As for Sane I think he's no worse than any other SS member. Beside me calling WM insane would be like calling the kettle black. Remember I live in ND, so my perspective on normal is slightly skewed.
He is after all...
I'm eagar to hear from him as well...just to make sure he's ok. With the heat we've had I can't imagine what he drove through.
I bet Elmo talked his ear off...no radio!

Mom and Dad put them in the drivers seat, Mom and Dad put the cell phone in their hand. If mom and dad failed to teach the...

WoW, I totally missed this thread. Appriciate everyone helping or offering to help Wreckerman. He's really doing me a huge favor on this one.
Can't wait to finally have this recovery over.
Thanks Richard!
I haven't nor do I have a CUCV. However with the amount of that GM body style in junk yards. I'd be willing to bet you can rip out a condenser relatively cheap that will bolt in. Getting a bolt on compressor is a little harder but not impossible. I bet you can DIY the whole thing cheaper...
It can be as complicated as hydraulic slides or simple as crank out.
Weather proofing is accomplised viw rubber flaps, and rope seal...it's preety good. I've had driving rain on both extended and retracted slides and no water intrusion.
My unit has 3 slides, and I added slide awnings to...
