M35 block heaters- who was selling them?

What? That doesn't make sense to you? LOL I already have a y cord for an in line or in tank fuel heater. They take the same plug. However my M35 only has one fuel tank... It was just a though I doubt they come without the cord and if so it's probably the same price...

There is one with 20 hrs left on GL. I wouldn't trust the description on not running probably has no fuel or batteries. Of course that's another gamble...

    Expedition truck...

I'm not sure they are indentical but they certainly are close. I'm actually trying to find interior dimensions of the M820. From the look of the platform its close to 8x8. I'm not sure what that box is... Now I can't stop picturing a mobile carpentry work station... Only downside to the...

    Expedition truck...

Ok well, I'm going to keep these ieas on the back burner but I maybe leaning more towards getting an M820. Reason being is their is far less modification required. With all things being equal, I still have stuff to do with my M35, taking on a serious project with little budget may not be...

    Can a m109 pull a bobbed Deuce

Flat tow yes. Adding a trailer will exceed the weight. At least that is my understanding.

    BlizzardX23's M35A2 Deuce!

In CA you need a Non-commercial class A for anything with 3 axles over 10000 lbs. Unless of course you will be using it for commercial purposes...then you need a full Class A.

    M916 for RV Build Project

While I agree, there is nothing that I like better than saving a buck.In the end stepping back looking at a project and saying, I built instills far more pride.

    M920 Differential Gears

No offense to Soni, but sometimes he seams to just have money to spend... maybe preferred chassis pays his MV addiction. Anyways, yes it is exponential but there are quirks. For example my F350 when stock sucked mileage bad at 70 mph, so I drove 65. It was a toss up between pay way to much...

    Expedition truck...

Alright so as I piece together ideas and practicalities, I find myself torn between two rocks. Obviously the engine is a fuel hog, no doubt there and I'm considering a small generator. But I'd prefer to leave propane off the truck. No sense in haveing more than one fuel type. They make...

    M916-M920 Tech & Tips

Of course. I did assume the truck needed to be running to engage the pump I just didn't know it would be so long. I sorta envision pulling up level the truck run up the roof and shut her down for the night. Thanks for manuals I read them when i get a chance, at the minimum flip through a...

    M920 Differential Gears

5.5-7 mpg hauling I think Soni has got to be close. From what I've read on the 600ISX I can't imagine a better powerplant for the truck. What kills the M920 and it's the same problem with over the road units of that era. Is we had a horrible understanding of aerodynamics. In fact the...

    M916-M920 Tech & Tips

Alright seeing as though I have no way of looking at these trucks, and I don't have the manual. Can someone answer a question for me? Is the winch and hydraulic system contained in the same unit on the back of the truck? If I remove the unit from the frame do I lose the trucks hydraulic...

    NTC-400 mods

Alright I'll probably end up posting this over on The Diesel Garage but since there are a fair amount of guys with the 400 on hear I though why not. I've heard you guys talking about swapping the buttons. I've also read guys changing the PT pump and adding a seperate fuel line to the #1 plug...
