Just to bring this back to life a bit I called them today....
Available at a shocking $118 a gallon! No thanks I'll use the other stuff.
The guy did say I could get it significantly cheaper with a national account.
Thanks, and I'll try to get pics linked tonight, can't from work, stupid IT guys. Defenetly will do what I want its narrowing down what I want that is the problem...
Between this the other truck, my woodshop, side business and trying to convince the wife to let me build up and M40A5. I don't...
There is another place I'm torn. I do like the camo look, mines flat olive drab. I've been trying to track down the reg that covered vehicle markings in that era. Also trying to crank my bumper nuimbers as well.
I suppose I could just follow its progress like the unit never loss the...
I figured yellow tops being a deep cycle would be better than the 6TL's. They are a little more than I thought for some reason I thought they were $99. They are actually $169 before discount and 6TL's are $105.
I really don't have a problem but I suppose is the Yellow top going to last $70...
I was looking for the artic battery box. 6TL's are $105 just trying to save a few bucks.
Either way I don't keep batteries in my toys during the winter. If I had a plow for the duece it would eb a different story.
Still feeling it out, atm, yellow tops are a for sure thing. Although I'm...
Probably my first thread starter but you have to start somewhere right. Regardless I'm still in the planning phase of my M35 restoration and I've come across some things that I'd like feedback and opions on.
I'd like to restor my unit to origional status, but there are some ideas I would...
Any torque wrench.
Any adapter.
It's a versitile formula. If the adapter is at an angle other than striaght on there is another formula. the adapter at 90° to the wrench has no effect in torque.
C=D(A/A+B)
A=Length of wrench (measured from center of lug to center of handle)
B=Length of adapter (measured from center of lug to center of nut)
C=Torque Wrench setting
D=Desired torque at fastener

They come in metric too...
If you buy from Mac, or Snap on they make them up to 3"... I have one for 3 1/16th
It's not falling in that makes me nervous, well all see the end in due course that much is sure.
It's living with the loss of my $40K truck I'm not willing to deal with, she'll sit safe and sound on shore while I trudge out to the house. Probably why its been so many years since I've been...
I won't even take my F350 on the Ice middle of winter here and we see 20+, gotta send me pics of the deuce on Ice.
As for the block heater, I'd love to run the tests, just tell me the parameters and how you want it measured. My Duece sits idle all winter as it doesn't have good batteries...
Ice floats because its less dense in the solid state than water is at the liquid state. Its the same molecule as in a different state of matter.
A ship floats because it displaces water, as long as the ship weighs less then the water in the space it has displaced it floats.
They are two...
Thanks for the Video, sorry you had to rip the truck apart but I can't imagine it was all that hard, there is plenty of room to work. None the less it was effort well spent. Thanks!
And don't worry about the Heat thing, this isn't science no one is giving you a grade or looking down on you...
Since there is already arguments going on I just want to clarify "Heat" does not rise. "Hot" water or "Hot" fluid in this case does.
Heat radiates from the source in all directions unless acted upon by something else.
No relevance just a note.
I do like the fact that this thread has finally...
A vented air coupling should always be used to prevent brake lock. If the line becomes pressurized the brakes will not release. When the glad hands are not in use the only way to prevent this other than a vented coupling is no coupling, which can allow FOD in the system or a hose connecting the...
