When I registered my M35 which happens to be made by AM General the vehicle make doesn't come up in the database. My insurer (statefarm) had to send the vehicle info pictures of the vehicle including the data plate and a copy of the registration to the underwriter.
All that work and the cost...
Again look at the data plate but for example my M35A2 has a curb weight of 13,400lbs. However registered its 26,700 adding the potential in payload. Not only does a vehicle registered at 26K cost a lot to register and insure it also requires a different drivers lisence in ND.
Now I don't...
I've been telling people that for years, gasoline is considered by refiners as a waste product.
Up until the mandate of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel it was cheaper than gas. Unfortunately the additional cost of of refining ULSD has caused its cost to jump.
Another factor is that since Gas is a...
Its a grade of diesel fuel, which includes 1-D, 2-D , 3-D, 4-D based on viscosity.
1-D is considered premium diesel with a Cetane number of 44 or 45 it lacks the lubricating properties of 2-D which has a Cetane number of 40.

Which brings up a good point. SasquatchSanta how are you dealing with the gel factor. Are you running #1. I know 0°F and below my 08' Ford has problems without additive when running #2.
With the fuel pickup exposed on the Duece you must seam some temp related Gel problems no?
Curious as...
Depends on the model year etc. however my -10 manual has you pull out the lever and check for hydrostatic lock prior to starting as stated by Lance. It than has you re engage fuel control and start as normal.
However for cold weather starts below 20°F it has you pull the throttle half way out...
I have a 71' that's been sitting for months, not that I plan to play with it now, but I'd like to get the moth balls out next spring. I'm up here in ND currently still above 0°F, but I've seen -35°F and below ambient. That being said my current batteries are shot; cracked, dry and broken...
