So I have a huge favor for someone in WNY, I am away at school here in buffalo and am in the middle of a project. Im building a winch mount for the front of my m1009. I have it all tacked together but before I weld it I want to be sure it will fit just right. The problem is my cucv is back in...
Would there be a market for this anywhere? The winch and the fare-lead are just for representative purposes obviously, but if I started popping these mounts out does anyone think they would sell? Slides right in place of existing lift hook mounts.
Cut out floor, rockers, inner, outer front fenders, then ran out of time and had to go back to college. So there the truck sits waiting for me to come home. O and I was having a starting issue, the batteries would never hold, or get a charge. I was tracing wires, and checking connections for...
The issue with using an easy out is how small that screw is. Also the fact that its in aluminum, very easy to mess up. If I leave it will it begin leaking eventually or is that glued on?
I started using my m1009 to pull a boat. Pulled ok but could have used a little more on hills. Decided to turn up injection pump an 8th turn. So I begin by removing cap screws of injection pump. First one I start with... Snap. The screw breaks. Do I just leave it and walk away to continue...

When it is about 30 or so outside it will take me 2 cycles of the...
Where is the pressure switch? And what could it possibly do on a fully mechanical system. Mine cranks for a long time when its warm out or cold. doesn't matter. What could that be? When the engine is warm, it does start up much quicker.
Changed the fuel filter, and air filter on my 09' and drove from Albany to buffalo for my final week of classes. The numbers said 20.5 mpg averaging from 60 to 65. Ill round down just to be sure, 20mpg with my 77000 mile 30 year old vehicle, not bad!!!
There is a fairly easy trail near where I live that climbs up a mountain. The trail is fairly smooth, but parts of it are steep enough that the blazer wont even go up in high range. It wont slip a tire, just simply wont have enough power to make the hill. Thats running 31's. Once i put on 33's i...
