Anyone have a source for M1101 / M1102 trailer tarps? I did place an ad in the Parts Wanted forum, but info on a source would be good to have here.

Hi All:
I searched here and found all I could ever want in the way of the standard 2-gun M16 cab rifle mounts- what I am looking for, though, is how M16's were mounted on the driver's side, muzzle down.
I have seen one picture and part of a video which show this as having been done in Vietnam...
I tried out my S-250 in one of my M1102's the other day. Loaded it in, but the legs I made were for the M101A3 and did not clear the wider M1102 sides, so had to block the shelter up about 3 1/2" (two 2x4's). I took it out and pulled the combo at 50 m.p.h., then 55, 60, 65, and 70; it was very...
I have a 2010 M1102 and built a spare tire carrier:
I made 12 gauge tire rails, used 2" x 2" x 1/4" angle side-to-side for the center brace, 2 1/4" x 1/4" steel hub spreader with 1/2" pins to index the lug holes, 3/8" all-thread rod and chain to tighten up the tire and lock it (would use 1/2"...
Not one vendor I have asked has been able to say. I asked several on epay and two of the nationally-known companies.
I got one today and there is no country of manufacture on any of the packaging or on the assembly itself.
If they are all built to "mil-spec", then supposedly it doesn't matter...
I have seen many posts about air packs failing after a short life.
I have not really seen posts about the best ones, which is what I want.
I rebuilt mine but the hydraulic cylinder was badly pitted; I honed the crap out of it and then polished it with 600 grit and washed it, but it seems to...
Was in this once with my WWII Dodge. Fun if you're into that. Lots of MV's that time. My club Inland Empire Military Vehicles Preservation Assocition will be in it along with a bunch of others.

Good show, good food, combines air show with a regular car show which seems to have a few cars/trucks not all shiny and such; plus usually 20-30 MV's.

I will be there with my M35A2 as I have to work that afternoon and can't make the Barstow trail ride that day.

I will try contacting the right people at the facility to find out about MV parking...
Hi All:
Recently my engine has developed a random problem.
It can be idling normally at normal temp and then drop RPMs and start chugging and puffing grey smoke. Revving the engine will not make it go away. After a bit it resolves itself.
I have dropped and cleaned out the tank. replaced the...
Hi All:
I have looked through many threads but have not found answers to my questions:
1) Which paint did they have? Or, would it be appropriate to paint this trailer 24087, Vietnam semi-gloss OD?
2) Why did they have a front tailgate? For special loads?
3) I understand they came out in the...
Hi All:
I can get a M101A3 for less than $700 in decent condition and a set of M105 gates and bows for less than $150.
So is it really a big job to modify the M105 gates/bows to fit the 101A3?
Thanks
-Ken
P.S.: I did an advanced search but didn't find this question.
Noob question:
What system does the hydraulic reservoir behind the tool box on the passenger side go to?
I looked in a few TM's but I could only find a reference tot he sticker, not a PMCS item or such.
Thanks
Lots of threads and posts for this upgrade!

Hi:
I have looked thru a couple of TM's but have not found instructions for zeroing and setting the throttle pedal/linkage/injector pump/fuel density compensator.
My engine seems underpowered, but before I melt a piston/blow it up, I want to make sure it's all set to factory specs.
I am...
Hi All:
Pancake Breakfast located at the Riverside Municipal Airport this Saturday 8 to noon (?)
Several members of the Inland Empire Mil. Veh. Pres. Assoc. will be there with trucks.
This is located outside the hangar where the military airplane museum is located...
On Sunday May 5th is the annual Antique Truck Historical Society's show- located on the grounds of the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, CA.
Last year there were three M35's plus many WWII trucks an jeeps, not to mention a huge lot of antique civilian trucks, most restored, not...
