    M35A2 wiring troubleshooting

I realize the ohmmeter is not showing a short, but if all you did was replace the batteries then it seems likely the problem is in that area. Often, a chafed wire/cable will not measure low resistance or shorted until it’s moved/disturbed. Also, ohmmeters only put out a very low voltage in the...

The A-frame kit (hoist) for M35-let's talk about it

This is something I put together. It's based on a couple drawings I found. It is not a faithful rendition of what is found in the TM's, but it is lightweight enough to erect and use by myself. I AM NOT advocating anyone else use these drawings for any purpose other than for discussion...

    M66 ring installation

Another TM you could look at is TM 9-1005-245-14 dated 1973; it's in the TM section of this site. It has more detail for the vehicle rings than the -13&P.

I have downloaded a copy of TM 9-1005-245-14 manual from 1973. If anyone wants a copy, contact me...

    M36 Ring ok for M35A2?

Hi All: I have just received what appears to be an M36 gun ring with trolley; no legs or other hardware. I will possibly need to do some electrical work on another old mil truck to make it an even deal. The question is, would this ring be totally NOT appropriate for the M35A2? I really like...

Deuce starting problem and solution (in this case anyway)

Bearing grease actually is an insulator, and should be applied to the outside of a CLEAN connection, not inside it.

It’s been a pretty good truck- Lots of veterans have ridden in it and it’s not let me down as long as I keep up on the maintenance!
