    Civilian parts list?

Hi All: I tried a Search to no avail. Is there a NAPA or other brand carb kit for the original Hurricane engine? I am in the process of buying my first M715 and need to make it operable; it has sat outside for over ten years. (I will be pulling the spark plugs and looking into the cylinders...

    Gin Poles Finished

I have a very good friend at work who could do the emotional seeing but he got very cagey just talking about the boom line and would not even check my work. What we REALLY need are the specs of an actual kit.

    Gin Poles Finished

Some threads can be useful long after the OP is done; I have been doing the math to calculate the boom line size (lots of trigonometry and such); I got pricing of boom steel Friday.

Any sheaves/blocks used should be compatible with the cable running over them; i.e., the groove in the sheave must not be too big or the cable will flatten-out and that's not good for it. If you're using 1/2" wire rope (cable), then the groove in the sheave/pulley should be 1/2" or slightly...

    Torque Multiplier wheel Wrench Help

You can do it like the truck tire shops and tighten the crap out of lug nuts with big 1" drive air impact guns; the first time I took off tires on my deuce I used a 3/4" breaker bar, socket, and 8' cheater pipe and I still had to jump on the pipe to break most of the outer nuts loose. This is...

2017 winter SoCal meet Vietnam display Nixon library in Yorba Linda

I plan to make a run with my deuce to the Nixon Library in conjunction with the U.S. National Archives Vietnam exhibit. Tentively Fri. Dec. 29 or Sat. Dec. 30. A few of my co-workers and several in my family and friends are Vietnam vets; I don't know if any will also be going. Anyone wanting...

    Axle noise? video

I agree with you 100%; the only reason I'm looking into rebuilding my diff is due to the rapid increase in volume I've experienced recently.

    Blew out my T136-27

I would not rebuild the "dry" t-case; there is a bucket-full of bearings in it. I just rebuilt mine three months ago; the original part number bearings are very scarce; I was not able to buy every one for a complete rebuild. If you go with a running take-out, you might consider replacing the...

Which TM and what chapter and page(s) cover the Rockwell rear axle? I plan to rebuild part of it. Thanks!

    Axle noise? video

Mine does it with the rear inter-axle drive shaft removed, and has been getting louder over the past few hundred miles (mostly pavement miles). It's loudest at light loading, 50 mph.

Thanks guys! So, how does it mount? The one pictured in reply is porcelain (I think) and smaller diameter.
