Currently, you need of course your approved Form 6 for the vehicle. The gun must have the breech removed and a hole 76mm cut into the side of the chamber.
OMG, what a great gathering. Thanks for posting. I spent many months in Veghel back in the 80's and heard many stories from the locals. Beautiful country.
Form 6 must be for a specific vehicle you have decided to buy. You can't do a blanket form. Serial number/VIN is required as well as source of purchase.
I have used both spirits and Xylene on over 20 vehicles with equally good results. The biggest trick to doing a good job is to relax and take your time. Do your prep, make certain everything is clean and primed if bare metal. Good quality metal primer is essential.
Actually that's a common recovery story and if true, you are likely in the clear. The problem with anything like this is if it "disappeared" from some installation or PD and it is on a list. Some were legally and illegally pulled off target ranges. Still others were legally and illegally sold...
I have owned 5 V-100s. The first thing is confirm where they got it. No guessing. Without a paper trail, you will always run the risk, however small, of serious problems, even having it taken. Being an E2 is a big plus in your favor as most in private hands are E2 models.

If you are really wanting to run it, don't ever buy anything you can't get parts. You will not get parts for the Hotchkiss. If milage is a concern, don't buy armor. Short of a full MBT, nothing will stop a .50. Don't buy over width unless buying a MBT. It will be a constant restraint. Properly...
There are step by step instruction on the lid of the frame bag. If you don't have that, let me know, I will photograph mine. Pretty straightforward, really. Easy for two. I love mine.
