Greetings Mike and welcome to steel soldiers.
Need a little more info to help get the questions possibly answered or in the right forum.
What truck do you have? Is this a front or rear winch? What model or kind of winch is it?

Install correctly maybe 5 degrees change.
No big deal with both pieces.
The bows on that model are rare as they are taller than the regular ones for the ambo tops which are one piece.
Sportsmanguide had the tops years ago before the flood of hmmwvs.
Did not realize this model was now being surplused.
Love to see interior pics. Nice score
Greetings,
After months of ongoing contacts, ( has been incredibly more challenging this time than 2022 or 2017) I have been able to secure permission for Steel Soldiers to exhibit/participate at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans 2024 Airshow on March 23-24. If you watched...

I must be getting old.......... In another lifetime at Napa I made a gazillion hoses and the labor was $5-10 per side plus fittings and hose.........
I did not see the whole underbody of yours. There is also a solid shield under the transfer case and another on fuel tank.
I suspect private smithy had to do so some maintenance and dropped it but did not want to put it back up. Easy to drop with one person but definitely easier to put back...
Very interesting that yours has the underbody protection kit installed. I have seen complete kits around $1k and pieces sold but can't recall a truck sold with it installed.
Nice score and bonus.
Cool and thanks for posting & follow up.
You are correct as lots of the newest leds out there are clear but flash in color. Heck my deck lights can light I think in 7 colors and different patterns.
Cool plate to have.....
interesting to see the wrecked ones has supplemental red lights on the front corners and one of the "new" ones has a clear light. Are these mp units ? and those are flashers?
Also what is the wording on the license plates? Never seen tactical vehicles with road plates.
515 should work or any good quality rtv silicone.
For the bolts., I like to use any of the Teflon white brush on sealers like loctite 565 0r 567 etc. Will also act as an antisieze lubricant.
The southern forest heritage museum close to Alexandria, LA highlights the history of Camp Claiborne and the training grounds for the WWII troops that trained to run the railroads on Europe.
Lots of WWII memorabilia and exhibits in the main museum and surrounding buildings. Also cool forestry...
The mini series Generation Kill prominently featured HMMWV's
Worth watching if you had not seen it.
Heck it looked like some of our surplus m998's were better than what they had..............
