Probably a lot different. My guess is that the camper on there is not built anywhere near as well as the 109 box. Unless he literally means "bulletproof" then it will share the same weaknesses that any marrying up of military / civilian spec gear does.

You're gonna get nominated for Dad of the year after this trip! I would agree that splitting the kids between the trail car and the deuce is a great idea. The kids can alternate between Mom and Dad and if you run into mechanical trouble she can take both while you focus on the repair without...
If you need a reliable daily driver without any drama then I would get a different car. I think the fact that this great website exists is a testament to the fact that with these vehicles there is DEFINITELY going to be some drama.

He's entitled to have the vehicle restored to its pre-accident condition or better, if pre-accident condition is not possible. He's also entitled in many states to diminshed value -although not likely for a deuce.
