The SEE axles have the drain plug on the locker cylinder don't they? Often the locker piston can be freed up in the cylinder by flushing well with light weight oil. Oil in under pressure through the air line to activate the lockers, then drain the flushings. Repeat. Avoid steps 1 through...
A tire leak that takes a month to go down is probably not the CTIS issue. The tire leak, since you have ruled out CTIS component leaks, is probably the o-ring leaking between the wheel halves. There's no way to fix that other than breaking down the tire/wheel and replacing the o-ring.
I had...
Sounds like air ingress into the fuel supply. Sometimes you can spot a tiny bit of fuel that leaks out when the truck is off (no vacuum on the lines). Following the fuel supply path and loosening/tightening all fittings might find the problem.
If no luck with that step, it's possible to drain...
I had the same issue. I could feel the splines start to engage and the axle stopped turning, but the splines would not slide together. I started 'clocking' the spline engagement one at a time until they slid together easily. Conclusion, all splines are not created equal, have to find an...
D-cell adapters for the PRC-25 and '77 are available on the auction sites. IMHO that's the only way to go. I use the adapter and Alkaline D-cells (not rechargable) but rechargable D-cells could be substituted. My usage is low, just a little testing occasionally, or a demo at a display, etc.
It does seem odd the engine in an A1 could be the 3116.
The electrical schematics for the circuit board version of the PDP is in the Tech Manuals section, Present conflict vehicle section, about 20th line down, titled FMTVA1CIRCUITS, or similar title.
If the No Start button on the PDP had been...
Did you bleed the air out of the fuel system? C7 engine? On the earlier engines you could put a meter on the fuel solenoid and verify fuel is being enabled. Maybe you are lucky and the failure to start is just plugged filters or air ingress causing fuel starvation. Keep your fingers crossed...
Lots of "little" things can cause 5 solid lights. Five solids means 'not happy', and not much else. If the pressure switch on the wet tank is not working...5 solids. If the pressure protection valve is not set right...5 solid lights, if the air system is not quite high enough pressure to trip...

That site has really good Allison version ID info. Dan mentioned his truck is 2007. Gen 5 apparently came out later. If Allison is called they might need that info.
Looks like gen 4. Has the mode light...
Doesn't the latest partial power up and NN on the transmission indicate the transmission is happy again? If there were still transmission faults with power to transmission back on, wouldn't those faults cause a display other than NN? I know that when my transmission went wonky, as Dan...
Just so my comment will not be taken in a caustic way, that is, being against forum rules, I fully agree that current auction items should not be broadcast for all to see. I just smile at the perceived need to call Ebay "Epay" or any of the dozen aliases for it, Amazon "Amazing" etc. to avoid...
Just did a grease job, but have found a neat device that made the job SO much easier. There's a lock-on grease coupler, LockNlube, that grabs on to the Zerk and won't let go. Even the tough spring pivot fittings were easy to do.
I always hated to do a grease job because I don't have three...
Every person who owns a vehicle with multiple batteries should spend a few minutes or a week if necessary to understand how their batteries are hooked up. That could be a truck, battery, or life, saver.
There are safe shortcuts such as jumping only the dead pair of batteries to get the vehicle...
Connect the jumper cables across one 12v pair of batteries, charge a few minutes, then move to the other pair of 12v batteries.
Probably only one pair is dead, either the lower 0-12v pair. or the 12-24v pair. Normal layout will have the 0-12 volt pair further from the frame toward the outside...
