    2011 Haspin BS/T-shirt thread.

Has anyone thought of promoting the Rally as Findley this year? Could get more new SS members, too.

    Anyone have a BMP/OT-90?

Also, oversized width so transport can be expensive.

It is a Pinzgauer 718, stripped and used by SOCOM. There are six at Wright Patt and more in other locations going up for auction.

    SARACEN APC info

I would agree. Having owned two Foxes, they are perfectly fine while driven in a normal sense- its an armor vehicle after all. Good power, great suspension and great brakes, fun drive. Bear to work on, though.

    hi from england

Ah, Norfolk. I know it well. Great little surplus shop in King's Lynn, and the weekend market south of town, too. Been to the Lotus factory twice. Have owned 11 various CVRTs, one 432, and a BREN Mk2. Lots of Arktis Kit! Welcome aboard.

One of mine moves to Houston

Exceptionally beautiful work on that one, Gerald. No doubt the finest M-114 anywhere, period. As a toy, I guess an M-114 is a fine vehicle, but in service, quite dismal.

    Name this Tank

Offensive battlefield lasers designed to literally blind soldiers and pilots are a reality. The Chinese have displayed several man-portable versions over the last 15 years. It's not a laser for damaging equipment.

    Question on Camo Technique

I like Rapco paint and have used it for 18 years, but their rattle cans suck IMHO. Spray is inconsistent and the nozzles clog a lot. I always end up just throwing them away. I have better results with Rustoleum. Much better.

Talk is very cheep in the film industry.

    Battle Damaged/Destroyed LAV III

Stunning work. You might try photographing them in real sunlight, and at a low angle to get real blue sky. I think you will be pleased with the results.

    Saw these Unimogs

Neat photos. So, how did it do at Moab? How does it compare?

Why are front rims positive offset?

Doghead and armytruck63 are both exactly right. With all that weight on the front, unless the tires match the pivot point steering would be really difficult, even with power. Its all in the physics...
