Yeah, and I have had a tag on my website page ever since I got back from the Aberdeen MV show in May saying that it was for sale, but I never got around to putting it on this site's classifieds. (are the classifieds working again??)
Sad thing is, I would have sold it to you for less than what...
Not to hijack a thread... But if anyone is interested in the flatbed linked to in the first post of this thread, I've got one that is similar enough that it might be intersting, and I have a title for mine with no EUC required...

Re: RE: Couple replicas
Well now, that would explain why he was so upset obout the caption being wrong the first time around... And why I suspect that I've got to tweak them again...
Photo nine on my page would be Eve of Destruction while Photos 6-8 are of The Great Eve of Destruction...
I recently worked on a truck for a buddy that still had the engine tag on the front right side saying that it was normally aspirated, although it had a turbo on it and the injector pump had a tag stating that it was updated for turbo use. I'll chase him down and get the info for you...
RE: Couple replicas
The stripe was used so that the "eye in the sky" could tell what unit a truck belonged to from up in his chopper...
I was reminded when I was captioning my photos that the correct name for one of the trucks was "The Great Eve of Destruction" not "Eve of Destruction"... A...
RE: Re: RE: I have the same problem?
I have it on a chart located on my website:

Meanwhile, the little bulb is: 313 in 24v, 1445 in 12v
Enjoy...
RE: Couple replicas
Wow Frank... Remind me to haul down my scanner and laptop when you get those photos and we'll do a number on them for you... Meanwhile, here is the link to my collection (small as it is) of photos...

Lee,
It sorta depends on how despirate the person buying is for the parts and how much you want them out the yard combined with shipping cost/hassles sometimes...
That said, I tend to take 50-75% of the going price as listed by dealers such as TNJ Murray or Memphis as a personal guide if I am...
It's a PDF...
Your browser should pop up Adobe Acrobat Reader (asuming that you have it loaded on your machine, otherwise, they tend to prompt you to go get it...). I really should put a text version online, but time is tight right now... PM me if you still can't open it and I can send you a...
Yeah, my numbers are submitted by folks over on the www.g741.org M37 site (and others), and by some of the guys who have been turning wrenches on them professionally for years... I add a number myself every now and again, but not often...
You mean like the list that I host on my M37 site????
Look at:
http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/PartsCross.PDF
I also have a link to it off my main page which is http://www.garbee.net/~cabell
If everyone agrees, I'd suggest that you just put a link to my site and send me any updates that you come...
RE: Replacing Filament Bulbs with LEDs... anyone done it yet
I'm lazy... I just ordered a bunch of LED "bulb" assemblies that have the same mounting as the incandescent lights in the front and rear composit housings and swapped out the old bulbs. Works well. One of these days, I'll get...
It looks like I will be attending, but I still don't know what I will be driving... Most likely the '53 USMC M37 with the cummins, but perhaps the '51 USA M38... Depends on how the wrench turning this week goes... I am currently thinking that I will arrive on Saturday morning...
The folks...
One of my favorite driving M35's was one that was converted by the military from a normally aspirated to a "C" turbo truck... Ran like an absolute "bat..."
Loved the fact that the only tag they changed when they converted the engine was the one on the injector pump, the one over by the turbo...
Yup, right truck, right driver, wrong year... :). Photo is from the year before at Churchville when all he had was the little TV running off an inverter and a pile of 6TL batteries (which he was selling...). The following year at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen is the year of the larger screen...
We had an East Coast Convoy participant from SC a couple of years ago who put a window unit in his M35 (had it blowing into the hard top window while driving, into the bed while parked) and powered it from the AC generator mounted on the M105 trailer that he towed up....
Nice thing is that he...
If you are going to go into your Carter (Ball and Ball) ETW1, then you really need to study the article that Allan Bowes wrote a while back on the job (and the companion one on cleaning and adjusting the governor). He still has it on his website at:
