    Field Stoves

I have seen repair parts for the M2 burner assemblies up for action from GL in the last couple of years, but no M2 burners... The MBU is a wonderful unit, (diesel, fire it up while in the stove, etc...) but I have only seen a few come up for sale on Ebay and they have been very high priced...

    Aberdeen 2007

Re: RE: Aberdeen 2007 Which is why my group hangs out in the same spot every year (that and the fact that we have one guy who needs the extra width afforded by having the end spot -pays extra). Of course, we also like being on the back row...

    Field Stoves

I don't see any burner units in the photos (not that you can see the bottom that well considering the angles and lighting...). Every GL sale of these that I have looked at in the last year did not include the burner units. I think somebody got concerned that we would all blow ourselves up...

    Aberdeen 2007

I will be reserving my usual spaces over on the back row (can't remember the space numbers, but I was as close to the trees as I could get) not far from the vehicle display area... I have this deal with a bunch of NCMVPA/East Coast Convoy Yellow Serial (Southern) buddies where we all hang out...

    Field Stoves

You can't tell if they are complete unless you open them up and look. the M1959 basic unit is just a big box (what you can see) that opens up on the front to reveal a nested 20 and 15 gallon stock pots (with lids). Top flips up to reveal a square pan about five inches deep used for deep...

Re: RE: Maybe a group purchase will work out?? Why do you think that I want one??? I already have a few M1959 field ranges and other assorted goodies that are supposed to go into a MKT, I just need the rest of the unit... :) Then, there are those fundraisers at work and the concerts...

SOLD - m101 trailer + generator components in Dayton, OH

Sad... Got to say that I purchased several items that he had for sale, enjoyed my telephone conversation with him, got several emails about the stuff along the way (mainly about shipping methods and costs), and recieved the items yesterday in great condition... I was the one who suggested to...

Brandon, why don't you and Zane pick a time/resturant for Friday night since you both know the area better. I would suggest that we actually meet up at the firehouse and then ride over for eats from there in order to reduce the congestion at the resturant, and to make it easier on those of us...

had an absolute blast on this trip...!! Great group of folks, wonderful scenery, great trails, and a lot of good food (Tony and the folks are truly great hosts....). I'll be going back... I'll be posting my photos this weekend... My hat is truly off to BigWheelBob for tackling the trails...

I was talking to Zane (local organizer) last night and he stated that folks could set up on Friday night and that he would be in the fire house (next door to the display area) all night in case anybody needed anything... So far, it looks like it should be a well attended show. I hope that a...

    Where's Cranetruck?

RE: Where I was wondering last night as well... Especially since I spotted an item for sale on Ebay yesterday and got to thinking that he would be a great resource for hauling it home if he hadn't passed its location yet...

Trip to Coleman's Surplus in Millersburg, PA, 15 Sep 2006

RE: Maybe a group purchase will work out?? Please ask about the kitchen trailers... I'd love to have you broker the deal if you know him well enough to get a good one for a good price... For that matter, I have familly that might be interested in having one of two for thier business (we...

    Deal......or no deal?

I'll just pop in and say that the wear pattern you describe for the front tires sounds like the common wear pattern for these trucks... They tend to push when going around cornerns since the rear axles don't have a differntial between them, and the fronts wear bad on the outer half of the...

    Large Flatbed MV trailer....

Re: RE: Re: Garbee?? They actually more then double for the M104 and M101 trailers and have a similar increase for the 1/4 and 1/2 ton trailers that I have in the back yard... I would think that the same differences in dynamic loading would apply for a trailer as for a truck and would...

Re: Garbee?? It is for sale until somebody sends me some money.. :) $ 2200 and it can be yours... This is what I have in it... Dataplate info: Flatbed Cargo 5 Ton, 4 Wheel NSN 2330-01-226-0709 Engineered Air Systems, Inc. St. Louis, MO SN TR-100 MFG Model Number TR-100 Bed is 225.63"...

    Large Flatbed MV trailer....

There are some ramps at a military surplus yard nearby that I have my eye on that look like they are made for this trailer... I figure that all it would take would be a piece of heavy wall tubing slipped into the holes on the lugs already welded to the end of the trailer to secure them (holes...
