I figured out my pulling power problem on 16's. Factory tune is only 515 hp but it's now bumped to a CAT tune on the C15 at 625 hp and 2,050 ft. lbs. of torque which is about as much as a stock C15 on sequential turbos will put out with only a plug and play tune. Brakes are fine as they are...
Ga National Guard let's me operate a M984A4 from time to time. I guess it helps that I'm pulling their stuff as the Maintenance Platoon Sergeant for my unit. I couldn't afford it otherwise.
I'll leave these pictures here. General Non-Sense has quite an oil leak from his accessory drive at the moment but he and his owner are pushing forward nonetheless. He made the round trip to Durhamtown 190 miles each way pulling the M1102 that broke my foot. He hauled about 4,000 pounds of...
Mine is back running good for the moment, looks like I got some bad fuel or years of sitting has caused alot of condensation water to plug the fuel filter. I'm still going to switch to a spin on fuel filter with a viewable bowl so that I can check water contamination off the list a little...
John,
I had my pump gone through about 2 years ago for around $350 if I recall correctly. Local shop in Albany, Ga called R&S Diesel. The only other shop in my area that I found was Shiver Diesel Injection in Tifton, Ga that would touch it.

Oiled down my front differential, driver's side frame rail and a few spots on my M1102 trailer that I towed thanks to my accessory drive leak on my nifty 250. I did get a chance to talk to SwampDonkey about it this weekend at the Ga Rally and it turns out that this leak is not too hard to fix...
Researching more, member Barrman has done this exact swap on a few of his trucks with no issues. Swap top cover and let it ride. Member Cucvrus did this swap and noticed a little more power on a M1009 so I have that to look forward to hopefully. I hate being a parts swapper but I've got a...
Bottom line up front, I'm reaching out for ideas. My truck has started acting strange lately. It loses prime when sitting over night (will be replacing all rubber lines and installing spin on fuel filter). It also randomly stalls out. Most of the symptoms point towards injection pump so I've...
I hate that John had to get towed in and out. My nifty 250 slung oil everywhere from the accessory drive leak but ran strong today. My GPS said I averaged 57 mph with Welder1's Deuce rolling with me. He had that rubber band tight the entire way home!
I had a great time this year as always. Thankfully the trip home was uneventful and that 1/8 turn on the main fuel screw made my average through the hills towards Macon around 55 mph. Welder1 made it at least as far as my road, I'm sure he'll be at his shop in about 25 minutes or so. Looking...
My list of commitments so far. I will be actively looking for you starting tomorrow evening so long as my trip is uneventful. I am staying at Kaye's Keep which is the large cabin directly across the street from the main lodge with members Welder1 and Riddle1. We will have our screen names...
I'm picking up a few items from the site the truck is located at tomorrow. If you still need help, please e-mail the release to sandcobra164@yahoo.com before 0700 Georgia Time and I'll make arrangements with the yard manager to pick it up after the Ga. Rally. If not, no worries. I'm only...
Did you try disconnecting / reconnecting the pink wire and listen for a clicking noise from the Injection Pump Solenoid? If you have fuel at the filter ensuring the fuel shutoff is functioning would be my next stop. You can remove the top of the injection pump and free it up by hand if stuck...
Batteries tend to get hot with extended cranking time. A loose connection can make them hotter. Please check for 24 volts at the pink wire on the top of the injection pump. Remove that wire while the key is in the on position and listen for a click when disconnecting / reconnecting. If you...
Finally got power to my house today. Ga Rally plans will commence as if nothing happened now! Leaving Thursday morning with Welder1, meeting PCTrans in Cordele at 101 off I-75 and lead the convoy in. If that fits into any else's travel plans send me a message.
Send your invoice to joseph.carson@usmc.mil . I can talk to Scott (GovPlanet Representative onsite) and pick it up after the Ga Rally. He's very flexible on dates as long as he's established contact. Does it run or would I be towing it? Either way, it would wind up in Leesburg, Ga and then...
They have power at the Marine Base so we went there to take a shower. Before I left I chained and locked the generator to the porch just in case. It's still here but may have some scratches to the paint now on the bottom corner of the tube frame. Thanks kindly Sir!
I'll be bringing one of Papabear's generators if they get power back to my house beforehand. It's been powering my deep freezer, refrigerator, dehumidifier and microwave for a day now. Even comes with less than a week old non-ethanol gasoline! You know my better half needs her coffee Sir!
