I got the leads fixed and the electrode holder & was able to test the ARC welding side of the welder.
Don't roast my welding! I already did get a bit better. Was just winging it & making sure it worked.

Everyone,
Got myself a SEW. Seems a TM is non-existant for it. Especially this odd aluminum model that is between the original fiberglass one & the new SEW-NG that is now out.
It had most of what should have been in there as far as the major stuff, besides gas bottles.
The Miller 302...
Frame looks more like rust, not cracks to me. I got one that is a frame dates 1966 with a newer tank, wheels, and other stuff that looks way worse but it seems solid. Older metal flakes like that. If you clean it up, it will serve it's purpose for you fine. That is what I plan to do with mine...
Neat platform, but I think most wouldn't want it. If you were closer, I'd give you something for it as I could see something of a neat project for it to make a utility trailer, but you're very far.
The M200 series is the proper trailer for the generator. Glad as I read along you found someone to trade. It brings the center of gravity way down.
Not so much a trailer issue, but keep in mind the generator you have is 3 phase only. When it comes to single phase 240v going into your house, 3...
No, the place I am using doesn't have any other colors that are remotely tactical with this good material. They might have a black, but it would be more for me to order a batch in each color when I'm not sure anyone is going to actually order them anyways.
Everyone,
I decided to start offering the covers for the MEP 802A & MEP 803A generators. Will have ones for the MEP 531A / 501A soon as well.
MEP 802A
MEP 803A
Handles at each end
Vents under each handle
As with all of my items right now, I sell via eBay. I purchased a small amount...
Thank you very much for this reply. Exactly what I was looking for! Had the opportunity to get one cheap & didn't want to end up with it & it not do the one thing I need it for.
I have had filters look perfect, but still restrict a lot of flow from oil residue. I couldn't tell you why... it forms a clear slime? If when you rebuilt them you didn't do the air filters, I'd really look at that from my experience.
I wouldn't want them on a pallet. Wondering if they work right on the generator fork slots themselves. Figured someone has to have tried it before I get one. My current shop setup is tight and they would be great for moving them in, around, and out of the shop where the LMHC or future larger...
Have you rebuilt your wheel valves? Biggest issue is the filters in them causing an imbalance due to being nasty. Also, kinked hoses. Balance is the key, especially with deflation. If you think this might be the issue, try just removing all your filters in the wheel valves to make sure flow is...
Sounds like you have a short. Be careful. Probably why it was sent to surplus. If that is the case, it could have cause some issues with everything else as far as controls goes. I'd start by completely disconnecting the main lines coming from the generator and go from there.
